Following a presentation at Deschutes Library on the history of Indian boarding schools in Oregon, Abby Hall discusses her work as a public speaker on the boarding schools, as wells as the hidden facts and history, and Romaine Miller shares his family’s experience in Indian boarding schools.

Correction- Abby accidently misspoke and said the elder interviews and curriculum writing took place in 2020 and it was actually the spring and summer of 2021. Also, the project was funded by the Oregon Department of Education Tribal History/Shared History initiative.
